Legacy park concept plan
Since 2019, Ritchot Recreation has been actively working towards making a new neighbourhood park in Île des Chênes a reality!
Working with the community, we have established an Île des Chênes (IDC) Legacy Park Committee to guide the planning a development of the park. The Committee includes local leaders from organizations and businesses, residents, local Council members and the director of Ritchot Recreation.
Following the recommendations of the 2019 Recreation Master Plan and the results of our community survey (completed in 2020), the Committee identified the features for the new park and has engaged the services of a consulting team to assist us with the next step in developing the park – the preparation of a long-range concept plan.
